Advancing Teacher Quality in Georgia Conference

The Advancing Teacher Quality in Georgia Conference was held at the Macon Crowne Plaza on February 19-20, 2004, and attended by approximately 350 participants. The response received from the attendees was overwhelmingly positive. Meeting the requirements for teacher quality and increased student achievement is a challenge for all of us, but this conference along with other initiatives, will assist us in meeting the challenges we face under No Child Left Behind. Local systems received guidance and understanding that will be helpful as they plan and implement Title II-A of No Child Left Behind.

For you convenience, we have placed links to the presentations and the materials distributed at the conference.
