Certification Levels and Corresponding Degrees

This chart reflects the certification level designated by GaPSC for selected degrees and majors. While the degrees are accepted in the issuance of an educator's first Georgia certificate (GaPSC Rule 505-2-.02), note that MANY OF THESE DEGREES ARE NOT ACCEPTED FOR A CERTIFICATE LEVEL UPGRADE (Rule 505-2-.33).

Note: A "Certificate of Advanced Study" (CAS) is not recognized as a degree equivalent.
