GACE Assessment Development Committees

The Georgia Professional Standards Commission (GaPSC) has selected Educational Testing Service (ETS) to develop and administer the Georgia Assessments for the Certification of Educators® (GACE®) program that helps the GaPSC meet its goal of ensuring that candidates have the knowledge and skills needed to perform the job of an educator in Georgia public schools.

We are recruiting educators and those who prepare educators to participate in GACE® development committee work, including test development, bias review, and standard setting. It is vital to have diverse representation of teachers, as well as those who prepare teachers, on these committees who will customize each GACE® to Georgia's standards.

Test development, as well as the bias review and standard setting committee work, for each assessment will be conducted over the next several months.

Please make a difference in Georgia public schools by submitting an application or nomination form for consideration to be a part of any of these committees for any assessment.

Those who are interested should apply immediately as the committees are forming.
