PSC Rule Update

At the December 13, 2007 meeting, the PSC adopted the following certification rules:

• School Counseling (505-2-.202)
• Educational Leadership (505-2-.300)
• Leadership Endorsements (505-2-.350)

These rules will have an effective date of January 15, 2008.

Based on feedback from the field concerning the Leadership Rule, the Commission will put together a small task force of appropriate representatives to review several aspects of the rule, including the definition of Leadership positions. Recommendations from that task force may result in revisions to the rule.
